Because I didn’t walk up Mt Eden last weekend, due to the weather. I had managed to do some push ups, star jumps and crunches for my daily exercise routine.
Yesterday I didn’t do anything, just procrastinated really and ended up playing Prince of Persia and slept, not a very good option though.
So tonight, me and my sister, hopefully my nephew comes also will be attempting Mt Eden all the way to the summit. Oh the pain..
I have been up this mountain before by car lolz, not by feet.
Of course I will be doing warm ups before I even leave home, stretches and so forth, then the walk to Mt Eden itself will also count as a warm up.
I can’t really take a phone so I can take a picture, I dont have pockets on my work out clothes.
So it is good luck to my legs and good luck to myself tonight.
My cousin will be at home, waiting, I am still waiting for her to go back home and get her shoes so she can walk with me and my sister. She keeps saying do you do lunges up the hill, do you use your arms etc. I just say no. She will make a great work out partner, if she stops eating the tomato’s and get her shoes. sigh… :)
I have noticed the difference in my body, if I dont exercise, then I get really lethargic. My body misses it. If I eat non healthy food, my body starts graving healthy stuff. It is a good thing that this is happening.
The only obstacle that I have to cover now is waking up and getting myself out of bed. Waking up early is no problem, getting out of bed is.
All this healthy stuff that I am doing is all thanks to my sister and cousin. My sister is looking at getting healthy and is going to the gym, and my cousin, can’t eat certain foods so she must also maintain a healthy body. I am so proud of both of them.
I am a gamer, I play video games, mmo games, so for me to get healthy is very much a MUST DO IT, then a DON’T DO IT.
It will do me some good to get outside and see some fresh air and away from the computer screen.
